While Insidious may have gone down the path of just about every other successful horror franchise by churning out sequel after sequel of increasingly lackluster quality, the fact that the original film’s cast has returned for Insidious: The Red Door has gotten many a genre enthusiast off the couch and into the theater.

There’s also a solid chance this may apply to you, and you’re currently seated in a darkened cinema as the credits roll their way down the screen. While the film offered a surprisingly heartwarming conclusion for the Lambert family, are there more hauntings ahead? Will there be one last jumpscare to startle you before leaving? For the purposes of preserving the purity of your viewing experience, we’re not going to go into the gory details of what the clip entails. You’ve asked, and we’ve answered.

What we will say is that if you’re short on time or desperate to run to the bathroom, it’s a pretty brief, and inconsequential scene, if you could even call it that. All it really does is confirm that Blumhouse may not be quite done with milking the Insidious name, and more movies in the cult-favorite franchise could come in the future. Shocking, we know.
