Does ‘The Flash’ have a post-credits scene?

Surely a post-credit scene exists, especially if 'The Flash' serves as the catalyst for the upcoming reboot, right?

The Flash was more than just a solo movie for the scarlet speedster. It also retells the story of the Flashpoint event, where Barry creates a world without meta-humans and that the changes he made meant that Barry in this timeline doesn’t get his powers. This film has something for everyone, appealing to casual and veteran DC fans alike. Some would say that it felt like a homage to the DC franchise as a whole due to the easter eggs placed in the film.

But does The Flash have a post-credit scene just like the other DC films that were released recently? If so, how many and are any of them worth watching? After all, if James Gunn claimed that this movie serves as the catalyst for the upcoming DCU reboot, surely it’s reasonable to expect a post-credit scene.

Does ‘The Flash’ have a post-credits scene?

Just like almost every modern film in existence, The Flash does have a post-credit scene. This scene only appears at the very end of the film, and fortunately, there is only one scene to catch. Hopefully, you have the patience for it because plenty of people working on the DC blockbuster.

Without spoiling too much, the film featured another DC superhero cameo. While the scene was comedic, it could also be seen as inconsequential since it didn’t add too much about the future of The Flash or other DC projects. Unfortunately, this is the only post-credit scene that was presented in the film and it didn’t give any hints about ‘Chapter One: Gods and Monsters‘ or other future DC projects like Blue Beetle or the next Aquaman movie. Nevertheless, it’s still worth a watch especially if you enjoy watching various DC characters interact with each other.
