Deadline reports that Douglas Booth and Logan Lerman have both been cast in main roles in Darren Aronofsky‘s upcoming Biblical epic Noah. Booth will play Noah’s son, Shem, and Lerman will portray Noah’s older son, Ham, in the film. The two actors join already-cast star Russell Crowe.

Aronofsky, whose last directorial effort was the Academy Award-winning drama Black Swan, is still looking for an actress to play Noah’s wife. The director is reportedly considering casting Jennifer Connelly, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Alicia Nash in 2001’s A Beautiful Mind. If cast, she will be reunited with former co-star Crowe, who also appeared in A Beautiful Mind.

Aronofsky is also still looking to cast Noah’s nemesis. While Liam Neeson was reportedly being considered for the role, he won’t be able to sign on, likely due to scheduling conflicts. The director is also looking to cast a young actress as the love interest for Ham, but we don’t have any information as to who he has his eye on.

We’ll keep you updated on Noah as more news arises but for now, tell us what you think of the current cast.
