DreamWorks Animation Announces Dates For Captain Underpants, Along With Madagascar, Croods And Puss In Boots Sequels

DreamWorks Animation has announced the release dates for four upcoming family films, including Captain Underpants, a Rob Letterman-directed and Nicholas Stoller-penned adaptation of Dav Pilkey’s children’s novel series, and sequels to Madagascar, The Croods and Puss In Boots, all of which were critical and commercial successes for the animation studio. The dates are as follows:

Captain Underpants – January 13th, 2017

The Croods 2 – November 3rd, 2017

Madagascar 4 – May 18th, 2018

Puss In Boots 2: Nine Lives & 40 Thieves – November 2nd, 2018

The four films join previously announced DreamWorks Animation sequels Kung Fu Panda 3, out December 23th, 2015, and How to Train Your Dragon 3, out June 17th, 2016.
