Will Speck and Josh Gordon’s ensemble comedy Office Christmas Party has made room for one more today, with The Hollywood Reporter bringing word that The Interview star Randall Park has been added to DreamWorks’ workforce.

Centering on a festive party gone awry, Park – who also had roles in Trainwreck, Neighbors and ABC’s adorned comedy Fresh off the Boat – will star opposite Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Deadpool‘s T.J. Miller and Kate McKinnon. With production not set to begin until spring of this year, expect one or more of that cast to be bringing a plus-one.

Featuring a script produced by Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky and Laura Solon, Office Christmas Party was first pitched to DreamWorks six years ago, and only started to gain momentum when Speck and Gordon (Blades of Glory) came aboard. At the time, Scott Stuber and Guymon Casady were behind the concept and it’s understood that both remained attached to the film in a producing capacity alongside co-directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon.

For now, DreamWorks’ has slotted Office Christmas Party into a fortuitous December 9 window, and we can expect to learn much more about the final cast list and their roles in the festive flick once production gets underway in Atlanta in the coming weeks and months.
