The Eli Roth-produced horror flick Clown was already scheduled for a limited theatrical run this summer, but a press release today confirms that those interested will be able to watch the movie at home thanks to a simultaneous release On Demand via Starz Digital on June 17.

Clown has been kicked around for a few years now, with the first trailer releasing in 2014 ahead of a release outside of the United States. The movie tells the story of a man who purchases an old clown costume for his son’s birthday, but discovers that he can’t take it off and that he’s slowly transforming into a child-eating demon.

Thanks to the day-and-day digital release, the movie’s limited theatrical run won’t hurt fans who are looking forward to checking out the gory mayhem that’s sure to be unleashed.

The film stars Andy Powers, Laura Allen, Peter Stormare, and Elizabeth Whitmere and was directed by Jon Watts, who helmed last year’s Cop Car and is directing the MCU return of Spider-Man in next year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. That’s an interesting resume to say the least.
