Looks like Daniel Radcliffe isn’t the only one looking to buff up his post-Harry Potter career. Radcliffe’s co-star from the series, Emma Watson, has been booking new roles left, right and center and now we have confirmation on yet another one, a part in Sofia Coppola‘s The Bling Ring.
The film will follow the true story of “The Burglar Bunch aka Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch aka The Bling Ring, a group of teenagers who pulled off some brazen heists of celebrity homes, including those of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Megan Fox and Orlando Bloom, taking up to $3 million dollars worth of goods.”
Looks like the young actress has made yet another wise career choice with this one. This is the first time I’m hearing of The Burglar Bunch but it sounds like an interesting story and will likely make for a good film, especially in the hands of the talented Sofia Coppola. Plus, Watson is a fine young actress who I think is going to have a pretty successful post-Potter career.
In addition to The Bling Ring, Watson also has The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and Your Voice In My Head coming up. She also just signed on to star in Guillermo del Toro‘s Beauty and the Beast.
