Empire Debuts New Look At Kylo Ren In Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Because we haven't already seen enough of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Empire has now gone ahead and debuted yet another new image. This one features the film's big bad, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), flanked by two Stormtroopers. It's badass, but doesn't exactly reveal anything too exciting about the mysterious hooded villain.

Because we haven’t already seen enough of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Empire has now gone ahead and debuted yet another new image (which you can see below).

This one features the film’s big bad, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), flanked by two Stormtroopers. It’s badass, but doesn’t exactly reveal anything too exciting about the mysterious hooded villain. All we really know at this point is that he’s not a Sith Lord and is something of a religious fanatic who’s obsessed with Darth Vader, which is something Driver commented on to Empire in their recent issue:

“When someone thinks of their actions as morally justified,” Driver told Empire, “it makes them dangerous and unpredictable. There’s no level they won’t go to to accomplish what they’re after. I never thought of the character as an evil person.”

Obviously, there’s a lot more buried beneath the surface here, and clearly Ren has some kind of personal connection with Vader (at least, we assume that to be the case). Unfortunately, though, we likely won’t find out how exactly he factors into things until Star Wars: The Force Awakens touches down on December 18th.

Until then, however, feel free to speculate in the comments section below.
