Here’s How Eva Green Could Look As Nightmare In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

Eva Green is Doctor Strange's worst Nightmare in this awesome fan-made poster for the Sorcerer Supreme's upcoming sequel, In the Multiverse of Madness.

The Sorcerer Supreme will be returning in just a couple of years to save the Earth from mystical threats, as his upcoming sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was confirmed earlier this month at Comic-Con. We know that Benedict Cumberbatch’s magic man will be joined by Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch for the movie, which should be an exciting new pairing in the MCU, but we don’t yet know who’ll they’ll be teaming up to defeat.

However, all the signs are pointing to Nightmare serving as Doctor Strange 2‘s main villain. The comic book character is the demonic ruler of the Dream Dimension, which could explain the horror movie influences that we’ve been told to expect from the pic. He’s a lesser-known foe from the Marvel universe, though, so the filmmakers should have freedom to do what they like with him. Like present a gender-flipped version of the villain, for example.

If this does happen, digital artist BossLogic has found the perfect actress for the job: Eva Green, recently seen in Disney’s Dumbo. Down below we have an amazing poster that BL’s made based on this concept, with Green captured in the center as Nightmare and Strange and Wanda on either side of her. Note their creepy blood-weeping eyes.

If you’ve ever seen Green in underrated supernatural series Penny Dreadful, you’ll know that she has the chops to pull off an other-worldy, complex role like this one. As BL says in his caption for his original Twitter post: “She is a scary woman, but beautiful at the same time.” Plus, Green already has a history of playing villains in comic book movie productions (see 300: Rise of an Empire and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For).

Tell us, though, do you have any picks for who should play Nightmare in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, regardless of gender? Join the discussion in the usual place below.
