Everything Everywhere All At Once was nominated for four awards and won ‘Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture’, ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role’ (for Michelle Yeoh), ‘Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role’ (for Ke Huy Quan), and ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role’ (for Jamie Lee Curtis).

These historic wins resulted in an emotional speech from one of the film’s stars and Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role winner Ke Huy Quan, in which he claimed that Hollywood has changed for the better. Meanwhile, Michelle Yeoh gave a film reference when she was on stage for her acceptance speech as she relives one of the multiverse realities that was featured in the film.

Everything Everywhere All at Once first premiered during the 2022 SXSW Film Festival on March 11 before receiving a nationwide release on April 8. After it received 11 nominations for the 95th Academy Awards, the film received a theatrical re-release to celebrate. The film reportedly had a $14.3 to $25 million budget and managed to gross over $100 million at the box office worldwide. The Academy Awards is now the final awards show left to go during the 2023 awards season, so fingers crossed that Everything Everywhere All At Once makes history on March 12, 2023.

For those who want to relive this multiverse hopping film, Everything Everywhere All at Once is available to stream on Paramount Plus and Amazon Prime Video.
