Our very own Zachary Shevich caught the film in Philly not too long ago and had the following to say about it:

Led by an impeccable Saoirse Ronan, the earnest 1950s-set Brooklyn weaves an enchanting love story into the tale of an Irish immigrant’s American assimilation.

Back when Brooklyn landed at the Toronto International Film Festival, we had the chance to attend its press day, and while there, we caught up with both Saoirse Ronan and Domhnall Gleeson. The two stars discussed with us their personal connection to the story, how they were able to relate to their characters and much more.

Check out they had to say in the video above and be sure to catch Brooklyn as it’s now in theatres.
