For those unfamiliar with the much-anticipated sequel, it revolves around a young mother (Sossamon) and her twin sons who move into a rural house that’s marked for death. Their only hope is a former Deputy Sheriff (Ransone), who’s quite familiar with the supernatural entity haunting them.

Last week at the LA press day for Sinister 2, we sat down with Ransone and Sossamon for an exclusive interview. The two actors discussed the film’s surprising scary moments, what one of the child actors had to say to Sossamon on screen, the challenges Sossamon had with playing an abused wife, and what it was like for Ransone to be the lead of the sequel.

Check out what they had to say in the video above and be sure to catch Sinister 2 when it hits theaters tomorrow!
