Exclusive Video Interview: Nicholas Sparks And Tom Welling Talk The Choice

We Got This Covered sits down for an exclusive interview with Tom Welling and Nicholas Sparks to talk about their new film, The Choice.

Nicholas Sparks fans can now rejoice as yet another one of his romance novels has been turned into a motion picture. This time, it’s The Choice, which hits theatres this Friday and stars Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) as Travis Shaw, a ladies’ man living on the North Carolina coast who works at his father’s veterinarian office in an effort to heal the townspeople’s sick pets.

His life is turned upside down though when he meets his neighbor Gabby Holland (Teresa Palmer). Despite their apparent dislike for each other at the start, they soon embark on an amazing romantic journey that takes them places they never expected to go.

Last week, the Los Angeles press day for The Choice took place and while there, we had the chance to speak with both Sparks and Tom Welling, who co-stars in the film as Dr. Ryan McCarthy, Gabby’s boyfriend who has yet to clue in on what’s been going on between her and Travis since he’s been away.

While Sparks spoke about how this novel differs from some of his other work, Welling talked about preparing for the role and what attracted him to the part initially.

Check out what they had to say in the video above and be sure to catch The Choice when it hits theatres on Friday!
