Now that Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston have been cast as the leads in the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it’s time for the studio to begin wrangling in the rest of the cast. According to two new sources, three actors have just entered that fray.

Variety is reporting that The Perks of Being a Wallflower and We Need to Talk About Kevin actor Ezra Miller is in early talks to take on the role of Kredan, a wizard who encounters Redmayne’s magizoologist Newt Scamander in New York City. THR also reports that Ezra is in talks, but state that he’s actually circling the role of Jacob, Scamander’s rival and the film’s antagonist.

If that’s true, Miller is in contention for the Jacob role with two other actors: Frozen and The Comedians actor Josh Gad, and Arrested Development alum Michael Cera, both of whom are reportedly meeting with Warner Bros. executives next week. If Miller lands the role, it’ll mark the second big WB franchise of his career; he’s already signed on to star as The Flash in the DC Cinematic Universe, and this could be a series that dramatically raises his profile and status before suiting up as the Scarlet Speedster in 2017’s Justice League – Part 1.

There’s also one more major role yet to be cast – that of Waterston’s character’s sister, Queenie. Previous reports claimed that Saoirse Ronan, Dakota Fanning, Banshee‘s Lili Simmons and Dig actress Alison Sudol were on the shortlist for the role, and now Variety’s sources are saying that Sudol may be the top choice.

Directed by four-time Harry Potter veteran David Yates, and written by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling herself, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to bow in Muggle theaters on November 18th, 2016.
