There’s still much to be learned about this pair of projects, but the fans have made it clear that they’re already on board. While both Loki and Wanda Maximoff seemingly perished in the recent Avengers: Infinity War, this latest announcement confirms that there’s a future for these characters yet, and many Twitter users couldn’t be happier.

That last tweet raises a valid question of how such lengthy solo journeys for these two characters could be integrated into the MCU timeline. Granted, there’s good reason to believe that dusted heroes like Wanda will be brought back to life in Avengers 4, but Loki’s death in Infinity War came across as a little more permanent. Since it’s unclear where a prequel could fit into his life story, you have to wonder if there’s credence to all these theories that he’s due for a comeback.

In any case, our answers will come in due time, as will further shows focusing on relatively unsung heroes from the Marvel movies – which brings us to this final tweet:

Kevin Feige has certainly hinted at big plans for Clint Barton, so this idea certainly sounds plausible. What’s more, the limited series format could be very well suited to adapting some of the more eventful stories from the comics without the pressure of cramming entire sagas into feature-length movies.

In any case, we’ll surely be in a much better position to understand where the characters of Hawkeye, Loki, and Scarlet Witch could go from here when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3rd, 2019.
