We are, of course, referring to Hogwarts, the inimitable school of Witchcraft and Wizardry that served as the backbone of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series for an entire generation.

This time around, though, Warner Bros. and director David Yates (and Rowling, who penned the sequel’s screenplay) are rolling back the years for a 1920s adventure involving Newt Scamander and the young Albus Dumbledore, who is played in this instance by Jude Law.

By the time we’re introduced to Dumbledore during The Crimes of Grindelwald, he’s still slogging it out as professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, a vocation that tends to attract nothing but bad luck in Potter lore. He also features in today’s all-new featurette, which is essential viewing for anyone who grew up watching Harry, Ron and Hermonie getting up to all sorts of mischief within the hallowed halls of Hogwarts.

But a new era awaits. With Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Dumbledore is much more concerned with his former flame Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) than he is with Voldemort and the Boy Who Lived. Tensions are on the rise, and Grindelwald is pedaling his vision of an all-wizard society that reduces Muggles (AKA No-Maj) to second-class citizens. And it’s up to Newt and Dumbledore to stop him before all hope is lost.

It’s the second part of a five-movie saga and fall’s most anticipated new release (or so says Fandangos’ latest poll), and on November 16th, Hogwarts will swing its doors open to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
