Fantastic Four Teaser Reveals The Thing In All His Rocky Glory

Leave it to 20th Century Fox to get beaten by Movietickets at promoting its own movie. A new trailer for the site's ticket-buying app has given us a sneak peek at the powers that will be on display throughout this summer's Fantastic Four, from Johnny Storm's manipulation of fire to Reed Richard's stretching ability. It's a pretty solid way to tease what all comic-book aficionados want to see from the blockbuster - and certainly a better preview than the overly glum, Nolan-esque trailers Fox has been putting out, at least until it turns into a commercial.

Leave it to 20th Century Fox to get beaten by Movietickets at promoting its own movie. A new trailer for the site’s ticket-buying app has given us a sneak peek at the powers that will be on display throughout this summer’s Fantastic Four, from Johnny Storm’s manipulation of fire to Reed Richard’s stretching ability. Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell lead Fantastic Four, which opens August 7.

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
