Fast Friday Set Video Checks In With The Toretto Crew Ahead Of Fast 8

It’s Friday, and that can only mean it’s time to check in with Dominic Toretto and his crew of petrolheads. But unlike previous editions of Fast Friday – the ongoing video series designed to drum up excitement for 2017 blockbuster Fast 8 – there’s a new face calling the shots from behind the camera.

Staging his own Bring Your Daughter To Work Day, Vin Diesel introduces his daughter Hania Riley in the video above, who goes on to narrate a barrage of old and new footage taken across the international production, which has since spanned the icy plains of Iceland to the crowded streets of Cuba.

After speeding past the halfway point in production, Fast and Furious fans are beginning to anticipate the release of the film’s debut trailer, which ought to shine more light on the arc of one Luke Hobbs – Dwayne Johnson’s big friendly giant who is all but set to go through the wringer in F. Gary Gray’s hotly-anticipated sequel.

Also starring Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Nathalie Emmanuel, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Suicide Squad‘s Scott Eastwood, Kristofer Hivju, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron as all-new baddie Cipher, Fast 8 makes a beeline for theaters on April 14, 2017.
