Will all of those egos be able to co-exist?

Rampaging egos are an everyday occurrence in Hollywood, but could there be trouble ahead after Fast X made the unexpected call to bring back one of its biggest-ever stars, who also happened to butt heads with no less than three different co-stars?

The obvious answer would be a resounding yes, seeing as rounding out The Fast Saga without Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs would have left millions of fans all over the world crushingly disappointed. However, let’s not overlook how adamant he was that he’d never return to the mainline series, with Vin Diesel being named several times as the source of his ire.

Sure, the two appear to have mended fences for now, but how long will that last when the on-set d*ck-measuring and macho posturing begins? After all, things got so fraught the two bald-headed behemoths didn’t even share the same shot in the eighth installment, so maybe there are even plans in place already to keep their direct interactions to a minimum.

The Rock also had his issues with Tyrese, too, who wasn’t best pleased he opted to make Hobbs & Shaw with Jason Statham at the expense of F9, even if the longtime Roman Pearce calling out one of the leads but not the other offers a suggestion his issues with Johnson ran much deeper than that.

Then there’s John Cena, who admitted he was a complete and total hypocrite when he went off-script and bashed his opposite number during their WWE feud, where he spent a lot of time trashing Johnson for turning his back on the squared circle in favor of the silver screen, only to go ahead and do the exact same thing.

Families can often be dysfunctional, but can they co-exist? It’ll be interesting to find out when shooting on Fast 11 begins, because some underlying resentment might just see things boil over once more.
