Feast Your Eyes On Iron Man’s Mark XLIII Suit From Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Even after the events of Iron Man 3, which saw Tony Stark destroy his collection of prized, mechanised suits, Avengers: Age of Ultron will once again have Robert Downey Jr. as the man in the can when Joss Whedon's anticipated sequel blasts onto the scene next year, and thanks to a series of collectible figures from Hot Toys, we've been allowed to get up close and personal with Stark's latest model, the Mark XLIII.

Even after the events of Iron Man 3, which saw Tony Stark destroy his collection of prized, mechanized suits, Avengers: Age of Ultron will once again have Robert Downey Jr. as the man in the can when Joss Whedon’s anticipated sequel blasts onto the scene next year, and thanks to a series of collectible figures from Hot Toys, we’ve been allowed to get up close and personal with Stark’s latest model, the Mark XLIII.

It may not be the most eye-catching armor that the self-proclaimed hero will don in the fight against Ultron — that title belongs to the Hulkbuster — but it’s still an enticing look at what is likely the most advanced Iron Man suit that Stark has ever created. And he’ll certainly need everything in his arsenal for the film, which will once more unite him with Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America and newcomers Wanda and Pietro Maximoff — who will play Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver, respectively.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will arrive in theaters on May 1, 2015. Until then, be sure to check out the Mark XLIII — replete with a little hot rod red — in the gallery above.

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
