With recent reports pointing to the final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer being released at some point this month, anticipation for the J.J. Abrams helmed movie is at an all-time high as we get closer and closer to its release on December 18th. Despite some early set leaks which saw a plethora of concept art circulated online and almost countless rumours in regards to some major plot twists (which may or may not be true; at this point, it’s impossible to say), Abrams has done an exceptional job of keeping the movie’s story a secret.

Among Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ many mysterious characters are Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and new images of them both have surfaced today via the Topps card trader app. Unfortunately, nothing surprising is revealed, though we do get a decent shot of Finn wielding his Stormtropper blaster and Poe looking ready to take flight in his X-Wing pilot uniform.

A recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens prequel comic revealed that Finn’s parents fought during the Battle of Endor, but his surname is being deliberately kept a secret. The fact that he’s been shown in TV spots and posters holding a lightsaber has led many to believe he’ll be Skywalker, though a popular counter theory is that those were just misdirection to take the spotlight off Daisy Ridley’s Rey. We’re just going to have to wait and see, I guess.

For now, check out the new images above and feel free to weight in with your theories on these Star Wars: The Force Awakens characters in the comments section.
