Every week, it seems like there’s a new major release begging for our attention, with the sharp-suited, rebooted Men In Black: International opening last weekend to underwhelming numbers and Dark Phoenix limping into theaters shortly before that, to name just a few. But while those two blockbusters may have been disappointing, let it be known that some of Hollywood’s biggest studios are about to drop their cinematic juggernauts.

For instance, next month sees the arrival of Spider-Man: Far From Home, the standalone sequel which will explore a post-Endgame world that’s still reeling from the death of Tony Stark. It’s a pivotal moment in the MCU timeline, so it’s no wonder that fans are waiting with bated breath to lay eyes on Tom Holland’s second solo outing in the franchise.

And while there’s still several weeks between now and release, the first reactions have surfaced online today and as expected, they’re fantastic. Offering up praise for just about every aspect of the sequel, the critics can’t stop gushing about Far From Home and below, you’ll find but a sampling of what they’re saying.

Of course, with the MCU firing on all cylinders right now, it’s not like anyone thought Spider-Man: Far From Home would underwhelm. But still, it’s nice to see so much praise being heaped upon it and it sounds like we’re in for a real treat come July. Not to mention a few surprises, too.

Indeed, the sequel is rumored to introduce Norman Osborn into the franchise and we’ve also heard reports of Robert Downey Jr. having a cameo. Whether either of those things will pan out, we’ll find out quite soon, but if one thing’s for certain, it’s that this is one summer blockbuster you won’t want to miss out on.
