Empire To Debut First Photos From Avengers: Endgame This Week

Thanks to the first Avengers: Endgame trailer dropping a few weeks ago, this December has already proven to be one of the most informative months yet on the content of next year’s Avengers: Infinity War sequel, and yet the movie still feels heavily shrouded in mystery.

Anticipation levels will therefore be pretty high for the next issue of Empire Magazine, which arrives on December 27th and will reportedly contain first-look photos for Anthony and Joe Russo’s next film, as well as the upcoming Captain Marvel. And while MCU fans will surely welcome further material from Carol Danvers’ solo debut, the images that’ll really draw the scrutiny of the forums will likely be those Endgame pics.

That being said, given how little the first trailer revealed, fans would do well to keep their expectations in check and bear in mind that Marvel Studios aren’t about to give the whole game away nearly four months before release. For one thing, we’d be very surprised to see any of the Decimation victims in these images, and if the studio didn’t use the teaser as an opportunity to show Captain Marvel alongside the rest of the gang, then we probably shouldn’t expect the pics to be any different.

Nonetheless, the photos should still help answer a few fan queries while likely spawning one or two questions in their place. After that, the next set of promotional material we get might not be until the second trailer, which is speculated to arrive some time in February or March. But regardless of what we learn in the coming months, all will be revealed when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
