Take this with a MASSIVE grain of salt, but several outlets are reporting that the above video is a leaked copy of the upcoming teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It’s not much, and there’s really only 20-25 seconds of footage here before it cuts to photos with narration from the original uploader, but we do have some reason to believe that it could be authentic.
For one, the words “Rogue One” and “BvS” are on the trailer. Another thing to note is that several people who’ve been uploading this to YouTube have had their videos taken down. Then again, the effects work here leaves a lot to be desired and it’s hard to imagine that Disney would release a teaser that’s this bland. Who knows though? We’ll let you give it a watch for yourself above and decide.
Regardless of whether it’s authentic or not, I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before we do get a real teaser for the film. In fact, it’s heavily rumored that it will arrive at the end of the month with Batman V Superman, so we could be seeing it in just a couple of weeks. As the guy in the video says though, while the above teaser may indeed be authentic, it may not actually be the one that we end up seeing. Time will tell.
