First Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer Coming Tomorrow

Michael Bay has announced that with filming having now wrapped, the very first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight will be arriving at some point tomorrow. This lines up with previous reports that stated it'd be with us in December. While many thought it could be debuting with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, as that's what rumors pointed to, it seems that we'll now be getting it a little earlier than that.

Michael Bay has announced that with filming having now wrapped, the very first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight will be arriving at some point tomorrow. This lines up with previous reports that stated it’d be with us in December. While many thought it could be debuting with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, as that’s what rumors pointed to, it seems that we’ll now be getting it a little earlier than that.

Obviously, this is very good news. The fifth film in the Transformers series is set to arrive on June 23rd, but we still haven’t seen anything official from it. No photos, clips, promos – nothing. A featurette and some BTS videos have snuck online in recent months, but what we really need is some concrete footage. Now, we’ll be getting just that, and we’ve no doubt that this first trailer will absolutely deliver.

We’ll be the first to admit that Paramount’s larger than life series isn’t exactly a shining example of depth when it comes to plot and characters, but no one can deny the sheer spectacle that each Transformers film is and if nothing else, this upcoming preview will be an example of just that. The franchise certainly has its critics, but when it comes to pure blockbuster action, it’s hard to top the robots in disguise and we can’t wait to see what kind of madness Michael Bay has cooked up for this outing.

Transformers: The Last Knight will hit theatres on June 23rd, 2017 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, John Turturro, and Josh Duhamel. It’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the franchise, too, what with both a Bumblebee-centric spinoff earmarked for June 8, 2018, before Paramount courts viewers back to the core timeline with a sixth mainline installment on June 28, 2019.
