This isn’t the first time we’re seeing Gal Gadot’s take on the character in action, as she’s appeared already in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailers, but it is, indeed, our first real look at her standalone film. And short as it may be, it’s most certainly a very tantalizing tease.

Warner Bros. hasn’t uploaded the footage online just yet, so the above video will have to do until we get an official version. One thing that’s abundantly clear here though is that if anyone had any doubts in their mind about Gal Gadot playing the titular hero, those should be put to rest after seeing this quick preview. She looks extremely comfortable in the role and the more we see of her in action, the more we feel that she really is the perfect choice.

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Saïd Taghmaoui, David Thewlis, and Robin Wright, Wonder Woman is set for a June 23rd, 2017 release.
