Here’s an interesting, out-of-nowhere bit of news: now that a few members of the press have seen the upcoming comedy Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, new information is slowly starting to trickle out about the film. One scene in particular is sticking in memory, and it surrounds a full-frontal male nudity sequence.

But the nudity in question isn’t by star Andy Samberg, or his Lonely Island troop members Akiva Shaffer or Jorma Taccone. The scene in question sees Conner4Real (Samberg) in a limo with his buddies when fans swarm around the car from all sides. As various women present themselves, as they say, to the guys, a window is rolled down and an opportunistic male fan displays his penis for Conner to sign.

According to /Film, the camera holds on the full-frontal scene “for a solid 10 seconds,” which the site referred to as “one of the longest shots of a penis on screen” in memory. The face of the bold fan is blocked from view, so until now, no one’s been sure who it belongs to (if that’s the sort of thing you wonder about).

In a recent interview with Page Six, Shaffer divulged that the on-screen penis is Judd Apatow’s. Yeah, Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin Judd Apatow. Here’s a quote of Shaffer’s interview:

“He wanted to show it because he was like, ‘I’ve had this normal but really well-proportioned dick my whole life, and I’ve never shown it. And I’m afraid I’m getting older and going to lose the bod soon.’”

Given how ridiculous The Lonely Island is, Shaffer could have definitely been joking around with Page Six, but now Taccone and the gang’s Twitter have chimed in on the veracity of Apatow’s member making its world debut in Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.

What do you think – is Apatow bold enough to let it all hang out on screen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
