Full Lineup Of Characters For The Eternals Movie Revealed

That Hashtag Show has some casting breakdowns for Marvel's Eternals movie and they reveal the full lineup of characters that'll feature in the film.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 currently on hold, The Eternals is shaping up to be a key part of our journey further into the cosmic side of the MCU. And though few official details on the upcoming fantasy flick have been revealed, a recent report from That Hashtag Show offers much to get excited about.

As you surely know by now, writers Matthew and Ryan Firpo are taking more inspiration from Jack Kirby’s 1976 work on the series than Neil Gaiman’s version, and while the film will dive deep into a very under-explored segment of the MCU timeline, there are still going to be some connections made with several pre-established characters.

But what about the new faces we’ll be meeting? Well, we’re glad you asked, as That Hashtag Show’s report outlines the various folks we’ll be getting to know. According to the outlet, the team we’ll be seeing in the movie consists of Sersi, Ikaris, Gilgamesh, Makkari, Elysius, Thena, Zuras and Starfox (brother of Thanos). Furthermore, the villain of the piece will be Druig and apparently, Marvel’s also looking to cast a character named Piper, who fans believe might be a new version of Sprite.

Of course, it’s also worth mentioning that Thanos’ people on Titan are Eternals in the comics, and while it’s still unclear whether or not the Avengers: Infinity War antagonist will appear in the pic, we imagine there’ll be sort of reference to the Mad Titan, at the very least. Especially since his brother will be involved.

And if you find yourself still on the fence about taking this cosmic trip due to being unfamiliar with the property, fear not, as Kevin Feige believes that that’s exactly what makes this the perfect film for the MCU. Speaking in an interview the other day, the Marvel Studios head honcho said:

“Your reaction about not being familiar with The Eternals is perfect because most people weren’t familiar with Guardians and believe it or not there were people who were not familiar with Avengers or with Iron Man. So for us it’s finding great stories whether people have heard of them or not and bring them to the big screen in as an amazing way as we can.”

Frankly, he makes some pretty good points there, and though I won’t pretend to know very much about The Eternals myself, I can still safely say that I’m excited to embark on another cosmic adventure through the MCU when the film arrives on November 6th, 2020.
