As if to set our tongues wagging ahead of the imminent Rogue One Twitter event, a new character poster has surfaced online for Gareth Edwards’ anthology film and this time, the spotlight is placed on Mads Mikkelsen’s mysterious Galen Erso.

First spotted by CBM, this one-sheet retains the style of previous Rogue One character posters in that it superimposes those all-important Death Star schematics over the subject’s face which, in this case, belongs to the esteemed Dane. In fact, a character poster featuring Mads Mikkelsen is long overdue, given that his Galen Erso is deemed instrumental in the construction of the Death Star, the most devastating weapon imaginable.

That places our heroine, Jyn Erso, in quite the predicament. Star Wars is a franchise that has a long history of dubious father figures, of course, but previous Rogue One teasers have teased that the young Jyn Erso once held a close bond with Galen before he became entangled with the Empire and one of its more ruthless directors, Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn). Will Edwards’ Star Wars Story lend Galen a shot at redemption? With only two full weeks left to go, the answers we seek are, thankfully, right around the corner.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story shoots for theaters on December 16. As for that aforementioned Twitter Q&A, it’ll begin at 10am PT and be hosted from a “surprise location,” according to People Magazine. If you want to partake in the showcase, you’ll be able to Tweet questions to a panel comprised of Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed. #AskRogueOne is the hashtag you’re looking for.
