Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harington Joins The Marvel Cinematic Universe

The past few months have been full of ups and downs for Game of Thrones fans. Back in the spring, the series finale aired and unfortunately, didn't sit very well with viewers. Although the season as a whole had some strong outings, the last episode was pretty underwhelming and left a bitter taste in the mouth of many.

Some of the show’s stars weren’t entirely thrilled with how things wrapped up, either, and a few of them have had trouble moving on from the hit fantasy series. As you may’ve heard, Kit Harington checked himself into rehab a few months back, and though he’s kept quiet ever since, it seems he’s now ready to return to work.

What exactly his next project will be remains to be seen, but Deadline’s reporting that the Jon Snow actor has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although, which film he’s on board for isn’t entirely clear at the moment.

The outlet notes, though, that Harington’s next movie will be an MCU one, meaning that whichever pic he’s signed on for, it’s got to be something coming up soon. Presumably, then, that means we can rule out anything related to the X-Men and/or Fantastic Four, as we know that those characters are at least five years away from showing up in cinemas.

It could be something currently shooting, like The Eternals or perhaps a project that’s getting ready to shoot, like Shang-Chi or Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but at this stage, our guess is as good as yours. Hopefully we’ll get an official announcement this weekend at D23, though.

Until then, however, tell us, which Marvel Cinematic Universe movie would you like to see Kit star in? Sound off down below with your thoughts and stay tuned for more.
