The actor who plays Jon Snow on HBO’s Game of Thrones, Kit Harington, will star as King Arthur in Arthur & Lancelot, an upcoming action/adventure fantasy written and directed by David Dobkin, who’s most well known as the director of Wedding Crashers.
This is the second major feature film for Kit Harington, who you’ll be able to see on the big screen in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D with Game of Thrones co-star Sean Bean.
In Game of Thrones, Jon Snow is a bastard son with a handsome face and highly-developed sword skills. Harington easily makes Jon Snow one of the biggest stand-out characters on the program. His experience on the show in an Arthur-esque era undoubtably helped him get his new role in Arthur & Lancelot.
Joel Kinnaman, who plays the supporting lead on The Killing, will be playing Lancelot in the film.
