Sony and director Paul Feig have released a brief trailer tease (we know how much you all love those) for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, and it gives us our first look at some official footage from the movie.

While we don’t actually see any of the titular spook-hunters, we do get some shots of armed forces and police massing to take action against… something. Will our heroes be taking on a giant creature of some kind like the StayPuft Marshmallow Man from the original? That’s certainly what this tease suggests.

The footage is inter-cut with the trademark “Who you gonna call” blurb and right at the end, we get a much shinier version of the classic logo and a couple of piano notes of the now iconic score.

Though this is obviously not much to go on, many fans are surprised by the seriousness of the tone. However, there’s a very good chance that the full Ghostbusters trailer will be much closer in spirit to the original films. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see though.
