Entertainment Weekly has released the first photo from the upcoming Die Hard sequel A Good Day To Die Hard, featuring franchise veteran Bruce Willis and new kid on the block Jai Courtney.
Willis, seen in the recent sci-fi treat Looper, returns as John McClane – the NYPD cop still eager to kick arse after twenty four years and four sequels. Courtney, who will soon be seen alongside Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher, will fulfil the role of McClane’s son John Jr.
In this latest entry, director John Moore is sending McClane and son (which was apparently a working title at one point) to Moscow so as to guarantee some corking fish-out-of-water one liners.
The previous film in the series, Live Free Or Die Hard, was an enjoyable action romp albeit without the cult kudos attached to the original. The box office success of which brought in $383 million worldwide and may have had a hand in the upcoming fourth sequel. Possibly.
A Good Day To Die Hard opens February 14th, 2013.
