The doors of the Milano swing open to accommodate the entire crew in this latest round of gorgeous stills for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Nipping at the heels of yesterday’s cover reveal, Entertainment Weekly has now debuted six high-res images for James Gunn’s imminent sequel, in which you’ll find Gamora (Zoe Saldana) with her thousand-yard stare, Rocket Raccoon getting to grips with some form of circuit board (a weapon, perhaps?) and little Baby Groot and his puppy dog eyes. You’ll also get a glimpse of Chris Sullivan’s Taserface in full costume and, well, it’s a sight for sore eyes.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 closing in fast, not a day goes by without the release of a new promo or, as we’ve seen more recently, some far-flung piece of speculation. To his credit, James Gunn has nipped a couple of rumors on the bud early on, including his decision to cut Adam Warlock from Vol. 2. Don’t worry, the character seemingly has a hefty role to play in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which Gunn will return to write and direct.

The filmmaker has a story arc in mind that’ll result in all three films working together “as a whole,” with the third Guardians movie expected to bring the curtain down on Star-Lord and the gang – for now, at least. As part of that deal, Marvel has reportedly ensured that James Gunn will be heavily involved in crafting Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we understand Vol 3. will “catapult both old and new Marvel characters into the next ten years and beyond.”

Elsewhere, now that the contents of Awesome Mix Vol 2. have been locked in – you can catch the OST’s promo right hereCBM has uncovered a sample of “Guardians Inferno,” as performed by The Sneepers and David Hasselhoff. Have a listen below.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is booked in for release on May 5th. The next fortnight is set to be a whirlwind of GotG Vol 2 reviews – including our own! – and in-depth breakdowns of James Gunn’s sci-fi pic, so be wary of potential spoilers.
