After George Clooney left Steven Soderbergh’s adaptation of ’60’s television series The Man From U.N.C.L.E., everyone questioned if anyone could fill Clooney’s shoes. Well, Warner Bros. have a few people in mind. The Wrap has learned that the studio looking at Ryan Gosling, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Alexander Skarsgard.

However, Gosling, Gordon-Levitt, and Skarsgard aren’t up for the same role as Clooney. Clooney was attached as Napoleon Solo, played by Robert Vaughn in the original series. The studio is now looking for “a leading man in his 20s” for the part of Illya Kuryakin, made famous by David McCallum.

It will be interesting to see who is cast in the project, which is being scripted by Scott Z. Burns, and expected to begining filming next March, after Soderbergh wraps Magic Mike, which has just started filming.

All three young men would do an excellent job as they are all talented individuals with bright futures ahead of them. If you had it your way though, who would you choose?
