Gwyneth Paltrow Says She Still Hasn’t Seen Avengers: Endgame

Tom Holland arguably lived up to his reputation during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, when the Spider-Man actor mentioned that Tony Stark dies in Avengers: Endgame. Though the spoiler managed to rile up a few Marvel fans who still hadn’t got round to seeing the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, many MCU enthusiasts were quick to point out that the movie has already been in theaters for almost two months, and currently ranks as the second highest grossing film of all time.

With that in mind, you could certainly argue that Holland should be free to openly discuss the flick’s main plot points without having to worry about the few spoiler-conscious moviegoers who’ve yet to give the film a watch. But while the list of MCU fans who haven’t seen Marvel’s latest feature can’t be that long, it seems that Endgame’s own Gwyneth Paltrow still hasn’t found the time, despite attending the movie’s world premiere.

The Pepper Potts actress was sat right next to Holland when he spilled the beans about Iron Man’s demise. After Holland joked that anyone who hasn’t seen Endgame is “living under a rock,” Paltrow coyly offered the following confession:

“No, I haven’t seen it.”

At this point, Tom Hanks, who was also on the show, came to Paltrow’s defense, urging Holland to “let her discover that herself.”

Perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that Paltrow still hasn’t put aside three hours to check out Avengers: Endgame. After all, during a recent appearance on The Chef Show, the actress revealed that she completely forgot that she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming, suggesting that she probably isn’t the biggest MCU fan.

Regardless, there remain a lot of filmgoers out there who are keen to see what’s next for the franchise, and they can expect some answers when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2nd.
