From Scarlett Johansson to George Clooney’s dim-witted actor and everyone in between, today’s slew of character posters arrive in tandem with a new featurette, offering a look inside the creative process of both Universal’s film and the film within the film.

Driving the plot on this occasion is Clooney’s big-name star, who headlines a lavish Roman epic in Hail, Caesar!. How and ever, Clooney’s Baird Whitlock is anything but the sharpest tool in the shed, and soon spawns a feverish search around Tinsel Town when he’s abruptly kidnapped from his trailer.

Presiding over Capitol Pictures is Josh Brolin’s studio fixer, Eddie Mannix, who will get more than he bargained for by leading the chase for Whitlock’s rescue. Beyond that, Joel and Ethan Coen have kept plot details under lock and key, though today’s featurette coupled with the stylish, old-school one-sheets found below give us a fair indication that Hail, Caesar! represents the studio’s ode to the Hollywood Golden Age of the 1950s – only spliced with that signature larger-than-life comedy.

Featuring a who’s who of A-listers, Hail, Caesar! will also feature Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum, and you’ll be able to glimpse said ensemble in motion when the film opens on February 5, 2016.
