It is now upon us. In just under a month, Harry Potter’s screen legacy will be at its end when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hits theaters on July 15th. I was a huge fan of the first part and the new trailer, which is the final piece of marketing, looks to be the thrill ride we were promised.
The new film clocks in at just over 130 minutes, making it the shortest of all the Potter films but also meaning we can expect a fast paced, action adventure to wrap up one of the most successful film franchises of all time.
It’s actually quite sad that after 10 years of Harry Potter films, it’s finally all coming to an end. This is certainly it for the boy who lived. No more films to look forward to, no more books to look forward to, nothing. Just the legacy that the franchise will leave. As they say though, all good things must come to an end, and so on July 15th Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will ride into theatres, providing fans with one more foray into the world of witchcraft and wizardry.
