Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil Trailer

I'm going to guess that you probably haven't seen Hoodwinked!, and that's a real shame. It was released back in 2005, featured a decent cast and gave moviegoers a new spin on the classic tale of Red Riding Hood. It was inventive, funny and enjoyable. I really enjoyed it and was thrilled when a sequel was announced. Unfortunately, the sequel was met with many delays but it eventually got back on track, and now we have the first trailer for it.

I’m going to guess that you probably haven’t seen Hoodwinked!, and that’s a real shame. It was released back in 2005, featured a decent cast and gave moviegoers a new spin on the classic tale of Red Riding Hood. It was inventive, funny and enjoyable. I really enjoyed it and was thrilled when a sequel was announced. Unfortunately, the sequel was met with many delays but it eventually got back on track, and now we have the first trailer for Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil.

Slated for an April 29th release, the film stars Hayden Panettiere, Glenn Close, Patrick Warburton, David Ogden Stiers, Andy Dick, Martin Short, Joan Cusack, David Alan Grier, Amy Poehler and Bill Hader. The film will see “Red Riding Hood training in a distant land with a mysterious, covert group called the Sister Hoods. When Red and the Wolf get called upon by Nick Flippers the head of the Happily Ever After Agency to investigate the disappearance of Hansel and Grendel.”

Personally, I think the film looks awesome. I loved the first one and I’m very excited for the sequel. It has the same tone and feel of the Shrek films, which is a good thing, or at least was a good thing until that series went downhill. Anyways, the film has a solid cast and is looking to be just as funny, inventive and enjoyable as the first.
