Though we’re only just over halfway through March, the full schedule for what’s new on Hulu in April has already arrived. And it’s a whopper.
To mark the start of spring, the streaming platform is debuting over 130 fresh movies and TV series across the month. Whatever your tastes, there’s a ton of stuff to entertain you on its way. Take your pick from classic movies, exciting new TV shows and some original titles, too.
April 1st delivers an enormous haul, even by usual first-of-the-month standards. A total of 99 films and television series go up on that day. As always, if you’re after new cookery, reality and property shows, Hulu has got you covered. And if you’re looking for more movies to watch, then they’ve definitely got your back there as well, as a load of iconic pics from over the decades are set to drop.
For instance, there’s zombie film 28 Days Later, legendary western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, romcom Four Weddings and a Funeral, a trio of Die Hards (the first, third and fifth, to be precise) and Will Smith superhero flick Hancock. Not to mention the first Mad Max, festive animation The Polar Express, horror comedy Scary Movie 4, DreamWorks’ Shrek 2 and TOS/TNG crossover Star Trek: Generations.

As for the rest of the month, Paranormal Activity 4 is added on the 12th, pandemic movie Songbird on the 16th, original docuseries Sasquatch on the 20th and you can catch Emily Blunt/Jamie Dornan romcom Wild Mountain Thyme from the 25th. The Oscars then streams on the 26th with the season 4 premiere of The Handmaid’s Tale debuting on the 28th, along with Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi Arrival.
