For context, Walker, who starred in the franchise as the beloved character Brian O’Conner for over a decade, tragically passed away at 40 years old in 2013 in a car accident following a charity event. At the time of his death, Walker was still filming Furious 7.

The seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise would ultimately be completed with the help of Walker’s brothers Cody and Caleb Walker pitching in and shooting the late actor’s unfilmed scenes and CGI. On May 10, Thorton-Allan took to Instagram to share the news. In the post, which featured a camera shot of the model, Thorton-Allan opened up about what the Fast and Furious franchise meant to her and how proud she is to share this moment with Walker.

Thorton-Allan revealed that she was only a baby when the first Fast and Furious was released in theaters in 2001. Further in the upload, the 24-year-old expressed that as her father continued to shoot the sequels, over the years, she was there watching Walker alongside his co-stars, including Vin Diesel, Jordan Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Bridges, and others “on the monitors.” She said while revealing her cameo,

“A preview of my cameo in Fast X. The first Fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family. I can’t believe now I get to be up there too.”

Later, Thorton-Allan would add how grateful she was for the overwhelming support she received during the process from everyone, including from Fast X director Louis Leterrier and her father’s best friend, Brandon Birtell. Despite the announcement, it is unclear how long Thorton-Allan’s appearance will be and if she has any lines.

Fast X is set to debut in theaters on May 19.
