Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame Fan Edit Removes All Women And LGBT Elements

A lot of people took issue with the extremely long runtime of Avengers: Endgame. Despite all of the necessary scenes and characters in the movie, there are probably some that could've been taken out. Fans will surely debate at length which of these deserved to be cut, but mostly anyone with a brain can agree that removing every single woman from the movie is pretty dumb. However, that's exactly what one particularly sexist Marvel fan spent his time doing.

This amateur editor didn’t stop there, though. He also decided to take out anything else deemed potentially feminist or gay. This anonymous clown’s version of the extremely popular film is therefore devoid of Captain Marvel, as well as anyone else who’s not a man. Hawkeye teaching his daughter to shoot was also nixed because, in the editor’s own words, “young women should learn skills to become good wives and mothers and leave the fighting to men.” Spider-Man doesn’t end up getting saved by females anymore, either, because there’s “no need to.”

There are also plenty of male scenes that are cut out as well. Black Panther’s screen time is reduced since “he’s really not that important,” and male characters no longer hug. Apparently, men displaying any type of affection is too offensive for this fan’s eyes. The warped version of the superhero flick has been circulating on an illegal streaming site, where chauvinists are likely enjoying a movie that caters to their moronic vision of the world.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Captain Marvel in particular has been subject to hatred from pathetic Internet trolls. Weirdos online were trying to tear down her own solo film months before its debut and this is just the latest attempt by those nobodies to try to make women feel small and unimportant.

The good news is that these fans will have to get used to watching females kick butt in Marvel movies for some time to come. Carol Danvers is ready to battle toxic masculinity all day if she needs to and hopefully, the rest of the MCU fanbase is ready to do the same so these trolls can be shamed into submission.
