New Image Released Of Bruce Willis In G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation

Bruce Willis is starring in the upcoming G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation and a new image of him in character was recently released through the film’s official Facebook page. It shows an armed Willis clad in a suit and tie, along with co-star Adrianne Palicki. As expected, Mr. Willis looks like a pure badass.

Another image of a solo Palicki as Lady Jaye was also released. If you ask me, she looks pretty fierce in this photo – I wouldn’t want to run into her in a dark alley!

Personally, I’m hoping that the film can bring a new edge to the franchise and keep it going full steam ahead. The first film may have not been received well but from what we’ve seen of the sequel, I think director Jon M. Chu is heading in the right direction.

Check out the plot summary below and be sure to catch G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation when it hits theaters on June 29th!

A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, from a screenplay by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe(R) characters, the film is scheduled to be released on June 29, 2012.
