New Images From Django Unchained Look Fantastic

New images from Django Unchained were released today and boy do they look good. Quentin Tarantino's upcoming spaghetti western is starting to gain a lot of buzz lately due to the footage that Harvey Weinstein screened exclusively at Cannes, which garnered a lot of positive critical reaction. If rumours are to be believed, we will get a glimpse at some of that footage when the teaser trailer shows in front of Prometheus.

New images from Django Unchained were released today and boy do they look good. For many, that is over a week away and for now, these images we have here provide another good taster of what we can expect to come. Tarantino has been working his way towards making a western for a very long time, Kill Bill Vol. 2 was practically his homage to Sergio Leone and Inglourious Basterds also harked back to the genre which he looks to be putting his signature mark on it.

Tarantino doesn’t do anything by halves, the costumes look pretty outlandish and apparently the dialogue and visual content is said to match up with what we’ve come to expect from one of his movies. I’m very excited to see what he can do, I’m particularly looking forward to seeing Leonardo DiCaprio tear up the screen as the film’s villain, from that very picture alone he looks pretty menacing.

Django Unchained rides into cinemas on Christmas Day and stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Walton Goggins, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington and Don Johnson among others. Take a look at the rest of the images below.
