Once more, the marketing goodies just keep trickling out for Peter Jackson’s highly-anticipated adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Today, they’re in the form of new images taken from a recent Empire magazine article.

Most of the images are standard characters shots featuring the dwarves, Radagast, Galadriel, and Gandalf with his sword, Glamdring. However, the most interesting image is that of The Great Goblin himself, and boy is he nasty looking. Last month, we brought you what was thought to be the first look at the character, and while there are some similarities, this picture shows that there are also some very distinct differences.

That being said, it doesn’t look like the image is actually taken from the film itself, but rather done by an artist. However, with this being taken from official coverage of the film by Empire magazine, it’s pretty safe to assume that the final product will be something similar.

Another interesting pic included in the set is of Radagast’s house. You may recall that the character of Radagast doesn’t actually appear in the novel, which will make it very interesting to see how Jackson and his crew integrate him into the story.

Luckily, we’re only about a month and a half away from the film’s opening, so we won’t have to wait too much longer to see how it all turns out.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters on December 14th.
