Rumors suggest Namor could go toe-to-toe with Wakandan king T’Challa in Black Panther 2. If that’s the case, Marvel will need to start looking for the perfect person to play the part. At this point, the internet is desperate to see Reeves in the MCU. Other fan art has cast him as Wolverine instead, a role that the actor has apparently always wanted to play. And while seeing Reeves portray either of these iconic superheroes would be a lot of fun, word has it that he might be about to join the Marvel universe sooner in a very different part. As you may’ve heard, it’s been reported that Keanu’s being sought to play the villain in The Eternals, which already has Angelina Jolie attached.

Kevin Feige has been teasing that Namor could make his MCU debut for a while now though, and Atlantis was even alluded to in an easter egg way back in 2010’s Iron Man 2. We also thought that a reference to earthquakes under the ocean in Avengers: Endgame was paving the way for Atlantis as well, but the writers have since admitted this wasn’t intentional. Still, the character is bound to show up soon and with any luck, it might just be Reeves playing him.
