Is Rachel Weisz The New Bond Girl?

Could Rachel Weisz be the new Bond girl? It could be. Apparently Weisz, who is also currently Daniel Craig's girlfriend, is talking to director Sam Mendes about the role. A source close to the film has said that, "Rachel has been speaking with Sam for some time now about appearing in the new Bond film, long before she and Daniel hit it off." If cast, Weisz would not play Bond's love interest, rather she would take on the role of the villain. There is no other information regarding the rumor, but with principal photography set to begin later this year, you can be sure that we'll be hearing more news shortly. We'll keep you posted.
