Before you get too excited, we should note that this is all just speculation at this point. That being said though, we do have reason to believe that Jared Leto may be appearing as The Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The evidence comes from a Tweet by the actor showing him suited up as the iconic character – you can check it out for yourself below.

Now, the question here is why is Jared Leto back in costume as The Joker? The most obvious answer would seem to be because of those Suicide Squad reshoots that we’ve heard so much about. However, as far as we know, those have already ended.
The next best bet would be that he’s going to have a role in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. While that’s entirely possible, the actor Tweeted earlier today that he was in Miami, and we all know that Snyder’s film is currently shooting in London. So unless Leto did a fair bit of travelling in the time since that Tweet, it’s probably not very likely to be the reason that he’s in costume.
Of course, another possibility could be that he’s just messing around with us and the photo he posted is from a few months ago when he was filming Suicide Squad. Or maybe he’s working on another unannounced DC film? At this point, we really don’t know.
Justice League seems the most probable option right now, and we’re inclined to believe it, but again, the whole Miami thing is keeping us from fully buying into it. Then again, a flight from Miami to London is only about 8 hours, so it’s not completely outside the realm of possibility.
We’ll just have to wait and see if Leto Tweets any other hints, but for now, tell us, do you think The Joker will be showing up in Justice League?
