James Gunn Teases Amazing Surprises In Avengers: Infinity War

With Avengers: Infinity War now just days away from hitting cinemas, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is teasing fans about some amazing surprises.

We can now finally say that we’re just a week away from seeing Avengers: Infinity War. After years of waiting, the event movie of the year and the biggest Marvel production yet are about to arrive. But, while this is an exciting time for superhero fans everywhere, we’re also entering a danger zone, as spoilers will soon be practically impossible to avoid.

And so, with just 7 days left to go before Infinity War hits screens, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has taken to Twitter to remind fans to tread very carefully when using social media this coming week as more and more details about the movie are bound to leak out. He also teased that we’re in for some “amazing surprises.”

Avengers: Infinity War opens in ONE WEEK. Just a reminder that there are many amazing surprises and spoilers in the film. So if you want to go into the film without too much info be careful on social networking and what you read online.”

Up until now, Marvel has been extremely cautious about withholding as many secrets concerning Infinity War as possible. Famously, almost none of the cast – including even Robert Downey Jr. – received a full script in order to ensure some of their notoriously loose-lipped stars wouldn’t blab about things they weren’t meant to. The studio also only showed 20 minute sneak peak screenings in the lead-up to release, saving the world premiere for April 23rd in LA.

As one of Marvel’s top filmmakers, Gunn is obviously fully in the know about Infinity War. He serves as an exec producer on the movie, too, as it features his Guardians of the Galaxy. And though not credited as such, it’s come to light that he even penned some dialogue for the misfit band of heroes in the pic. So, it goes without saying that if he’s teasing some “amazing surprises,” you can bet there’ll be some.

Avengers: Infinity War is expected to blast through box office records when it hits theaters next week, on April 27th.
