Former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa is being eyed for a role in Zack Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman. There’s no word on who he might play but if he joins, he’ll star alongside Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and the recently announced Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Though we have no word on the role that Momoa is wanted for, it’s safe to assume that it will likely be a villainous one, as that’s where the actor seems to excel. He’s a powerful presence on screen and brings an intense physicality to all his roles. Going off that alone, it’s probably pretty easy to narrow down the list of villains that he may be up for. Then again, Snyder could switch things up on us and cast the actor as one of the heroes. In fact, some reports are suggesting that he’s being eyed for Martian Manhunter.

Regardless of who he plays, with Gadot now announced as Wonder Woman, and Momoa’s name emerging as an all but confirmed addition to the line-up, it seems that things are really starting to heat up for Batman vs. Superman. As I said last week when Gadot was announced, by the end of the year I think we might have a full cast list to feast our eyes on. After all, with shooting set to get underway in February, I can’t imagine that they won’t have at least the core cast in place within the next month or so.

Tell us, are you excited by the fact that Jason Momoa might be showing up in Batman vs. Superman? Who do you want to see him play? Let us know in the comments section below.
